This passion was sparked by her Hungarian grandfather, a chemist who experimented with all sorts of organic essences in the family cellar. Even on her way to school on the metro, Aliénor made it her mission to identify the perfumes of those around her.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n \u003cp\u003eHer passion for fragrances endured and proved decisive for her career. While Massenet didn't complete formal perfumery training at ISIPCA, as is common for most perfumers today, she studied art history and psychology, partly to please her parents. However, from the very beginning, she worked for the industry's leading companies: Firmenich, L'Oréal, Florasinth, and IFF, to name just a few. There, she learned the art of perfumery from the ground up, firsthand, as an assistant to such renowned names as Bertrand Duchaufour, Carlos Benaïm, Pierre Wargnye, and Sophia Grojsman, among others, with whom she collaborated for many years.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n \u003cp\u003eNow, Aliénor Massenet herself is one of the great perfumers and, together with Clara Malloy, fulfilled a lifelong dream: Memo, her own label, whose inspirations stem from travel, dreams, and, quite simply, an exuberant zest for life.
