Spicy coffee: warm and intense.
Perfumer Richard Ibanez – the perfumer's secret
Lime, a small citrus fruit that creates an ascending fizz. Shimmering clouds of spice, acidic ashes, shiver: burning adrenaline. Descent, 3700 meters. Beyond black slopes: desiccated ylang, burnt sandalwood, and cedar. Coffee cascades, crackling cardamom, roasted ginger. Roaring softness.
Maison Crivelli - Seriously committed
When Thibaud visited vetiver and patchouli plantations in Indonesia, he met producers and became aware of the need to promote sustainable farming methods for perfume raw materials.
These are promoted in five steps:
- maintaining stable production, as it is always threatened by displacement from easier-to-grow plants (mainly palm oil).
- limiting soil erosion.
- avoiding the use of chemical fertilizers.
- promoting permaculture and encouraging producers to limit slash-and-burn practices that lead to deforestation.
- maintaining a high level of quality.
This approach led Maison Crivelli to support the organization Cœur de Forêt (Heart of the Forest) and participate in the sustainable cultivation of patchouli in Indonesia. With every purchase of a 30ml or 100ml fragrance, Maison Crivelli finances one or three patchouli cuttings, respectively.
