Parfums de Marly - Herod
"Herod" by Parfums de Marly was inspired by the noble and victorious 18th-century stallion of the same name and is presented as another successful fragrance: ladies and gentlemen – the luxurious Herod.
The regal dignity of the stallion is represented by the diverse notes of the perfume, primarily in an aura of smoky vanilla.
In the base notes, we begin with the woody notes of vanilla bean, cedarwood, vetiver, patchouli, nagarmotha, and musk. The fragrance unfolds in the heart notes with osmanthus, tobacco leaves, frankincense, and labdanum, adorned at the top with fresh cinnamon notes and laurel.
A composition that is both distinguished and exotic. This new "Herod" can certainly hold its own against its namesake.
