Natural Thai Agarwood
In Rule of 72, we use the highest quality, pure agarwood oil from Thailand — one of the most expensive and exclusive natural products worldwide. The black resin, formed by a fungal infection or insect infestation of the Aquilaria tree, is known in perfumery as agarwood or oud. But some also simply call it "wood of the gods." Agarwood has a very rich, deep, and complex character. With subtly muted, woody-nutty notes and warm animal undertones, its richness and resinous, smoky appeal are reminiscent of sandalwood, leather, and patchouli notes. This complexity is also reflected in "Rule of 72" and impresses with its unique presence and richness of facets.
