Concentrated hyaluronic acid and silicic acid smooth the skin while providing it with plenty of moisture. The membrane structure, similar to skin lipids and skin cells, also offers exceptional protection. However, what is truly unique are the potentiating effects of the serum: Applied first, it ensures that the active ingredients of subsequent Demarés products multiply in their effectiveness and can be optimally absorbed by the skin.

Demarés Philosophy
Fascinated by the wild beauty of Mallorca, the boundless expanse of the sea meeting rugged rocks and untouched landscapes, Uschi Unsinn-Zebergs developed a deep connection to this most contradictory island of the Mediterranean early on. The island, which, like no other, knows how to open itself to modernity while preserving its natural, original beauty. Since her first vacation in Mallorca, the cosmetics expert has been captivated by the harmonious balance of contrasts. From the vibrant life in the streets and the wild, untouched nature – both seem to flow seamlessly into each other.

In 2015, Uschi Unsinn-Zebergs finally founded her cosmetics company Love Living Portixol S.L.U. on the island. Mallorca is her source of inspiration; here she wants to realize her wish to combine the treasures of the Mediterranean, the valuable essences of Mallorcan plants – and to develop high-quality care from them with the help of modern techniques. In her cosmetics line, too, naturalness and modernity should complement each other and create something unique in perfect harmony. Shortly thereafter, she received valuable support for this project from cosmetics creator Bernd Kuhs. He also shares her firm conviction that Mallorca holds the secret of beauty in its landscape. Here, in the Mediterranean climate, plants grow whose ingredients are valuable treasures for the care of demanding skin. But both know: The active ingredients alone are not yet a guarantee for a highly effective skincare product.

Only with the right texture can the ingredients effectively penetrate the skin and unfold their maximum potential there. A revolutionary, microbiological process developed by Kuhs finally offers the solution. It enables the production of a membrane structure that is very similar to the natural structure of the skin. The active ingredients can thus be transported much more easily into the skin layer and unfold their full effect there. At Uschi Unsinn-Zebergs' suggestion, this membrane structure was further refined, allowing for the complete avoidance of artificial and chemical excipients such as parabens, emulsifiers, preservatives, and colorants. At the end of this refinement process, the basis of the first jointly developed cosmetics line was finally created – Demarés – The Mediterranean Skincare was born.
