The Herbarium of Trees
A few amber pearls in an antique treasure chest. Infused with the intoxicating scent of balms, spices, and precious woods, the flame unfolds a rich, enveloping fragrance. Mysteriously, the atmosphere warms, like a preserved, golden memory.

"Your Diptyque candle is an exceptional artisanal creation and deserves the greatest care. Here are some tips to optimize its lifespan and ensure safe use.

Preparing the space
- Place your candle on a flat, heat-resistant surface.
- Protect delicate materials such as wood or marble with a base or tray.
- Keep candles away from flammable materials.
- Keep candles out of reach of children and pets.

Lighting the candle
- We recommend lighting your candle with a match to avoid burns.
- When lighting for the first time, be sure to let the candle burn until an even layer of liquid wax has formed (approx. 4 hours, depending on the fragrance). This prevents the wax from tunneling and allows the wick to properly absorb the wax, ensuring an even burn. Wicks may produce a small amount of smoke when first lit.

While burning
- After the first lighting, do not let the candle burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- Do not move a burning or still hot, unlit candle.
- Keep it away from drafts.
- Leave at least 10 cm distance between two candles.

After each use
- Extinguish the flame: Use a candle snuffer to avoid splashes of hot wax.
- Re-center the wick once the candle is extinguished.
- Trim the wick with a wick trimmer (ideal length: 3 to 5 mm) before relighting your candle to avoid fire hazards.

Final note
- Stop using your candle once only 5 mm of wax remains or the metal wick base becomes visible.

Care & Storage
- We recommend ventilating the room after burning a candle.
- Allow the wax to cool completely before moving your candle.
- Store it in a dry, tempered place (15°C–25°C / 59°F–77°F), protected from direct sunlight, to avoid discoloration, pigment changes, or wax detachment."

As a result of exceptional savoir-faire and craftsmanship, the art of perfumery meets the expertise of candle making. Each candle is made from a blend of several types of wax and a high-quality fragrance concentrate, as well as a selected wick that guarantees perfect fragrance diffusion and combustion. Handcrafted in two workshops near Paris and in Provence by experienced master wax makers.
