Diptyque - Eau Rose - Hair Mist

A fragrance for the hair

Diptyque loves to bring forgotten perfume rituals into the present day. Sensual, sensitive rituals that, with each application, make the intangible tangible. In the 18th century, ladies perfumed their hairstyles and headpieces with fragrant powders and essences. Three centuries later, hair still receives the utmost attention. The new hair fragrance Eau Rose promises softness, shine, and radiance. Camellia oil, with its intense nourishing and protective properties, adds further sensuality. Created for Valentine's Day, this hair fragrance will become a permanent part of the Diptyque range, while its blue design, a color variation of the Rose Delight pattern, will adorn all products in the Eau Rose collection for a limited time. This fragrance, composed of Centifolia and Damask rose, is a hallmark of the house and an homage to the queen of flowers. Neither too green nor too fruity, it reflects the delicacy and grace of rose petals.

Leslie David
It's hard to believe that the promising graphic design icon Leslie David worked exclusively in black and white for a long time before turning to color. After studying art in Lyon and Strasbourg, she initially gravitated towards geometry and well-ordered motifs. But soon, the vibrant colors of pop art found their way into the illustrator's psychedelic collages.

Today, Leslie David effortlessly blends luxury with the hottest trends of the moment. She has no inhibitions and follows only her instincts. She loves to reimagine things and transports her vibrant universe from one project to the next without compromising her unique style: a book with Nike about surfing, a sculptural work centered around the intense blue of Red Bull, a love alphabet for Chanel, and a new brand identity for the Parisian concept store Colette. Diptyque was inspired by the cover of the album Love Letters, which Leslie designed for the electropop group Metronomy, and commissioned the artist to reinterpret the romantic Toile de Jouy patterns for their new Rose Delight collection.

Using drawings and stencils, she set to work and developed a new version of fabric printing techniques. Her colors, her smile, and her vivid imagination completed the work. The result is a unique universe where tradition, pop nuances, and oriental influences merge seamlessly.
