When lighting the candle for the first time, allow it to burn until an even layer of liquid wax has formed (approximately 4 hours, depending on the fragrance). This prevents the formation of a tunnel in the wax and allows the wicks to absorb the wax properly, ensuring an even burn. When first lit, the wicks may produce a small amount of smoke.
After the first lighting, do not let the candle burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
Never leave a burning candle unattended.
