Diptyque - Philosykos - Solid Perfume
Diptyque's most famous fragrance: the word Philosykos comes from Greek and means "friend of the fig." The leaves of the fig tree served as inspiration for this fragrance creation, which was created in 1996.
The inspiration for the fragrance was the home of Desmond Knox-Leet and Yves Coueslant, located on Mount Pelion in Thessaly and surrounded by one of the most beautiful gardens in Greece, complete with sea views. Philosykos smells of fresh fig leaves and is perfectly complemented by the woody notes of white cedarwood.

Diptyque
For over 40 years, Diptyque has produced a refined collection of perfumes with a distinctive signature. Inspired by nature and travel – the forgotten taste of a particular fruit, the richness of a tree resin, an exotic spice, sweet and delicately scented blossoms, the fragrant depths of a balsam, and the subtle notes of wood.
Superb substances, surprisingly harmonious and dominant, give Diptyque its distinctive and unmistakable personality. Like an invitation to freedom off the beaten track. Throughout its history, Diptyque has offered an extraordinary olfactory landscape.
Today, guided by this rich heritage, Diptyque perpetuates a creation of fragrances without restriction to the masculine or feminine.
