Function:

• Squalane helps retain moisture in our skin, preventing excessive fluid loss and dehydration. The skin gains elasticity and suppleness, appearing noticeably smoother. It also aids in the delivery of active ingredients.
• Few plants are as rich in antioxidants as purslane. Alkaloids, beta-carotene, vitamins C and E, flavonoids, and glutathione help fight free radicals, thus slowing down the aging process and protecting against cell aging.
• Corn germ oil acts as a free radical scavenger because it is rich in vitamin E and thus provides cell protection.
• Shea butter comes from Africa and is produced there from the kernels of the shea tree. It contains saturated and unsaturated fatty acids, vitamin E, omega-3 fatty acids, and plenty of allantoin and beta-carotene. Due to its high allantoin content, the face cream has an anti-inflammatory effect on acne and itching and leads to an improvement in neurodermatitis.
• Vitamin E also promotes skin cell regeneration – epithelialization. It stimulates collagen production and thus reduces the appearance of fine lines. It also protects against damage caused by UV radiation and ozone pollution.
