Iso E Super is an abstract synthetic molecule with a cedarwood note and a warm, velvety, enveloping impression. Guaiac wood is an extract from the heartwood of the palo santo tree, which smells warm, smoky, and woody. Guaiac wood has one of the best drydowns in fragrance alchemy, possessing depth, darkness, almost a heaviness. Imagine wrapping yourself in olfactory layers of creamy, warm whiskey in winter, with smoke from the fireplace filling the room; that is guaiac wood.
“Guaiac wood has the smoky and aromatic notes of a great whisky, along with a creamy warmth. It feels like wrapping yourself up in front of a fireplace in winter. It’s like smoke blending with Iso E Super to create a super-sexy and erogenous skin scent,” says Geza Schön.
