“Jean-David wanted an embrace, a soft and comforting fragrance that envelops you. He spontaneously thought of iris and its powdery note. In Greek mythology, Morpheus, the son of Sleep and Night, is the god of dreams. So I imagined a dreamed, fantasized, idealized iris, where all facets are pushed to the extreme: The powdery, enveloping, and comforting facets are emphasized by violet and the almond-like vanilla notes of tonka bean and heliotrope; the naturally green, herbaceous, and fresh facets are intensified by violet leaf and hazelnut, and the woody, rooty, and earthy facets are enhanced by cashmeran and a hint of vetiver.” — Suzy Le Helley
