The Inspiration
For the tenth eau de parfum in their collection, Laboratorio Olfattivo decided to cross the Mediterranean to travel to the island of Salina, located in the Aeolian Islands archipelago, nestled in the sapphire-blue sea. This pearl of the Mediterranean offers the perfect backdrop to create a perfume that exudes the scent of sun, sand, sea, salt on the skin… and freedom!

The Fragrance
Shells, starfish, salt, and hot sand inspired the creation, which is adorned with marine notes and sunny nuances. "Salina" is fresh and aquatic, but also warm: salty and sweet at the same time, light and enveloping. Following the development of "Salina" is like a stroll on a secluded beach, when the sun is just visible behind the horizon. With "Salina", the sense of smell expands to perceptions usually reserved for sight, touch, and taste.

The fragrance enables a holistic sensory experience that evokes impressions our minds couldn't imagine: the taste of the sea, the green of the pines in the coastal forest and that of the shrubs; the dazzling sparkle of the sun on the water; the carefree play with footprints in the sand before they are washed away by the waves, and the sunbeams hitting warm skin.
