The result is a model of its kind: the femininity and masculinity of the Centifolia rose alternate and are quickly enveloped by warm, spicy, and woody notes such as cumin, olibanum, cedarwood, and a hint of amber... In the background, the declared sensuality of guaiac wood and cistus, underscored by distinct musk notes, lend this perfume an unsettling sense of mystery.
Le Labo was born in Grasse, the perfume capital on the Côte d'Azur. It grew up in New York, the city where we opened our first laboratory on Elizabeth Street in Nolita in February 2006. We work with a community of artisans who shape our world: the flower harvesters, the local family farms, the candle makers, and the artisans who work with recycled wood. We strive to enrich people's lives by creating unique sensory experiences. Our craft is deeply rooted in slow perfumery. Our gender-neutral perfumes and candles form the core of our collection, but we also offer sensual formulas for body, hair, and face, as well as a skincare line.
