SANTAL 33 was born from this vision: a perfume that touches the vast and wild universality of this dream... that intoxicates... It unites a blend of cardamom and notes of iris and violet, which crackle in the formula. This smoky wood alloy (Australian sandalwood, cedarwood) is joined by spicy, leathery, and musky notes that give this perfume its distinctive and addictive aroma.
Here, in a few words, is what SANTAL 33 is... An open fire... The gentle wisp of smoke... Where sensuality rises after the light has faded.
Le Labo was born in Grasse, the perfumery capital on the French Riviera. It grew up in New York, the city where we opened our first lab on Elizabeth Street in Nolita in February 2006. We work with a community of artisans who shape our world: the flower harvesters, the local family farms, the candle pourers, and the recycled wood artisans. We strive to beautify people's lives by creating unique sensory experiences. Our craft is deeply rooted in slow perfumery. At the core of our collection are our gender-neutral perfumes and candles, but we also offer sensual formulas for body, hair, and face, as well as a grooming line.
