Le Labo - Tonka 25
This one is dark. A good, addictive, warm darkness, as if the moist summer undergrowth, its seeds and resins, were strewn with layers of musk and sweetened with drops of vanilla. It recalls the smell of warm skin and resinous wood. The perfumer's notes say: orange blossom absolute, the unique cedar atlas, styrax resins, tonka absolute and musk... We say TONKA 25.
Le Labo was born in Grasse, the capital of perfumery on the Côte d'Azur. It grew up in New York, the city where we opened our first lab on Elizabeth Street in Nolita in February 2006. We work with a community of artisans who shape our world: the flower harvesters, the local family businesses, the candle pourers and the artisans of recycled wood. We work to enrich people's lives by creating unique sensory experiences. Our craft is deeply rooted in slow perfumery. The core of our collection consists of our gender-neutral perfumes and candles, but we also offer sensual formulas for body, hair and face, as well as a grooming line.
