"The lily that made the biggest impression on me was one I discovered after a walk of several hours, through damp marshes covered with tall grasses and scattered flowers. That day, the weather, as always in this region, was highly unpredictable. Gusts of wind drove the rain-laden clouds back and forth through the valleys we were traversing. Then the sun reappeared as if by magic. Along the way, we spotted numerous waterfalls cascading down dark granite walls. Our final destination was a village on the edge of the cliffs, facing the sea.
We arrived around midnight. And although it was the middle of summer, the sun had not yet set. In the distance, we could see sunbeams illuminating the waves, making them shimmer. I remember seeking shelter for a moment between two wooden houses with thatched roofs. And it was there, precisely at that spot, that I was surprised to see some lilies." – Thibaud Crivelli
