Parfums de Marly - Delina La Rosée

A sensation
Depict one of nature's most fascinating wonders as a fragrance. Distill its poetry. Capture its freshness and prolong that feeling. Parfums de Marly has created a sensation and unveils its latest triumph: Delina La Rosée.

“Who hasn’t been enchanted by the mysteries of nature: the pearly sheen of a drop on a petal, or a tiny spiderweb suddenly shimmering with the colors of the rainbow? I still remember my childhood and the huge rose bed in my grandmother’s garden in France. I would get up especially early in the morning and run down to smell the unique scent of the dew on the roses before it disappeared. I believe that the memory of this scent is a sensation everyone experiences from time to time—a sensation I wanted to recreate in this fragrance.” – Julien Sprecher, Founder of Parfums de Marly

Like a moment of freshness, Delina La Rosée illuminates the skin from morning till night with a vibrant radiance and an unforgettable fragrance. This new scent embodies an everlasting future. An aura.
Behind the graceful frosted glass bottle lies a fragrance with character. A bouquet of sensations, created from the finest raw materials.

A blend of transparent water hyacinths and peony evokes the diverse nuances of a fresh, velvety, playful, and delicious rose. The most majestic of these notes, the Turkish rose, unfolds its elegance.

The scent of pear, lychee and bergamot provides a gourmand touch, while a perceptible but subtle base of woods, white musk and vetiver envelops the senses.

In the 18th century, young French ladies dipped their handkerchiefs in dew to moisten their faces. The golden age of the "perfumed court" is over, but its noble achievements live on. Delina La Rosée is a contemporary ode to the luxury of nature. Sky, water, earth. The elements merge in the condensation of exquisite raw materials. The alchemy of haute perfumery. Smell. Feel.

Perfume is a sensation. And Delina La Rosée is its latest expression. Delina La Rosée is the newest creation from Parfums de Marly and complements Delina (2017) and Delina Exclusif (2018). Delina La Rosée is available in a new 75ml bottle made of matte pink glass.

The Art of Nature
Since its founding, Parfums de Marly has been committed to finding and using the finest ingredients to ensure the alchemy of a perfume on every skin. Each formula combines the most natural, exquisite, and luxurious essences of perfumery.
Delina La Rosée contains three extraordinary raw materials:

The essence of Italian bergamot
Botanical name: Citrus aurantium var. bergamia
Harvest season: November to March
The essential oil is obtained by cold-pressing the peel. It has a radiant citrus top note that is rich, soft, and fruity, before the fragrance eventually becomes grassier and balsamic.

The essence of Turkish rose
Botanical name: Rosa damascena
Harvest time: May to June
It is the most precious rose in perfumery. It is cultivated in the Isparta region of Turkey. The area is also known as the "Rose Triangle" because of the mountains that protect the terraced roses from extremely hot or cold winds. The Turkish rose has a spicy, honey-like, and greenish fragrance. Approximately three tons – that is, about one million roses – are needed to produce one kilogram of the essential oil.

Haitian vetiver
Botanical name: Vetiveria zizanioides
Harvest season: January to July
Vetiver originates from numerous regions around the world, including Java, Madagascar, Brazil, and India. However, perfumers consider Haitian vetiver to be the most refined and balanced. The essential oil of Haitian vetiver is obtained through distillation and possesses dry, smoky notes with precious nutty nuances.
