The House of Oud / THoO - Get the Feeling
Get the Feeling was developed in collaboration with globetrotter and baritone Guido Loconsolo. A touching, personal, and balanced composition dedicated to operatic music, created by master perfumer Maurizio Cerizza.
Like a deep and powerful voice, it goes straight to the heart. The sensual notes of davana, coriander, and ambrette create an olfactory virtuosity that resonates from top to base. Ginger, lemon, and bergamot create a citrusy sillage that lends strength. Patchouli, juniper berries, and precious woods evoke sensuality and create an unforgettable fragrance.
THoO
When words aren't enough, colors, shapes, notes, and emotions are needed. THoO is a journey into the modern world, comprised of art, painting, beauty, nature, and life. Andrea Casotti's concept is an exciting freestyle, the personal collection of a visionary, street artist, and perfumer: a chameleon-like explorer of dynamics, colors, and ingredients, with the extraordinary talent to make each creation a vibrant, luminous synthesis of diverse universes.
ThoO captures the brilliant spirit of its founder, breaking free from every preconceived notion and imbuing the path he forges on the map of creative freedom with originality. The line blends life, experience, and inspiration into a narrative of the future, projecting endless synaptic connections onto painting, street art, and thought. It speaks to us about materials, the present, unexpected bouquets, and chords of previously unexplored raw materials. Creative sensibility transcends the gravity exerted by established roles, dives into life's opportunities, and carries countless drops of enthusiasm and the thrill of adventure on its skin. ThoO interprets the beauty of discovering a different perspective each day, of living at a crossroads, of listening, and of choosing one's inner self before deciding which path to take.
Time, with all its details, is the source of inspiration for THoO fragrances. The line originated from the creative interaction between Andrea Casotti, Maurizio Cerizza, and Cristian Calabrò, who captured personal moments: "before," "right now," and "from now on." The compositions capture magical moments in life and express them in a way that transcends words and cultures, using a universal language: the emotion of perfume.
The moment we fall in love transcends the boundaries of time and tradition. A moment we all share: unpredictable, unique to each individual, beyond words. The moment we withdraw from the outside world to seek inspiration and gather ideas has been part of humanity even longer than religions. The spark that ignites an idea is common to all the arts and even surpasses them: a flash lasting a microsecond, yet capable of illuminating an entire lifetime. THoO sings a hymn to these moments, celebrating perfume's ability to tell the stories of these fleeting experiences.
“Life is change: nothing stands still,” says Maurizio Cerizza about his vision of a fragrance that crystallizes change and time. “I always live in the present, because it is the only moment that can truly be experienced,” says Cristian Calabrò. Andrea Casotti concludes: “I am often asked why I want to create fragrances. I think they are the only things capable of capturing those moments that are worth living and preserving them in our memories.”
