Trudon - Les Albâtres - Atria - scented candle
Atria celebrates light: a star at the apex of the constellation Triangulum, known to the ancient Greeks and Romans. Brighter than the sun, Atria is surrounded by celestial objects, including a spiral galaxy. Its so-called nebula star—a quasar and the luminous center of this vast nebula—is one of the first ever discovered.
Atria is a delicate, light fragrance with a powdery note: its feminine character evokes soft, gentle touches. The heart of the fragrance consists of iris, cashmere wood, and amber notes with leathery, musky base notes. The alabaster adds a radiant glow, giving the Atria scented candle a luminous aura.
Atria is part of the Alabaster collection, the new Trudon series with luminous white elements. The delicate alabaster not only replaces the traditional green glass, but also creates a sculptural object with a matching top.
Praised since antiquity by the Greeks, Egyptians, and Romans, alabaster is a soft stone: its milky appearance filters light perfectly. Countless artifacts, objects, and sculptures crafted from alabaster are found in museums around the globe. They all symbolize elegance, finesse, and flawless whiteness. In ancient Greece, alabaster also gave its name to a handleless vase that contained perfume (alabastros).
Carved in Spain from a single block, the new vessels and matching finials are unique pieces: The veins running across the surface of the alabaster are inherently one-of-a-kind. Minimalist and aesthetically pleasing, a gold-metallic label recalls the history of the manufactory. The translucent alabaster is illuminated by the candle flame and receives the light: With the white mineral finials, The Alabaster candle series is transformed into a unique home accessory and a coveted collector's item.
A new raw material: numerous nuances, tones and facets.
