XerJoff - Casamorati 1888 - Dama Bianca

Turin is known for its grand history and historic past, which is still attested to today by numerous palaces and monuments. Once, a beautiful young woman lived in the former capital of Italy, who was supposed to marry a French officer. However, she refused, and to this day, it is unknown whether this circumstance was due to the fact that he was of French descent or simply because he might have been old and unattractive. Perhaps the young lady had already given her heart away and sworn eternal love to another...

She made the tragic decision to spend the rest of her young life in self-chosen solitude and captivity. Secluded, behind the walls of Palazzo Madame, she lived alone from then on, with unfulfilled love in her heart.

Her only escape from this world full of jealousy and betrayal was the fragrant and finely scented notes of fruits and numerous white flowers outside her lonely realm. Trapped in her dreams, she gazed far across the horizon, and thus they were so close and yet so unreachably distant, the promises of the outside world.

Dama Bianca begins surprisingly bright and undramatic, almost a little innocent. Fresh and juicy are the intense notes of lime and kumquat, which are responsible for this. Immediately, the floral-opulent dance of Florentine iris, Egyptian jasmine, delicately fragrant lilac, and a hint of lily of the valley begins. Jasmine is dominant here but allows the other blossoms enough room to unfold. Sometimes it's the spring-like hint of lily of the valley, sometimes a few branches of purple lilac, then again the proud iris with its incomparable scent - jasmine lets everyone dance but remains in charge.

The glamorous blossoms of Dama Bianca seem to be carried by dense, fluffy vanilla cotton balls, all in white. The heart note is gentle and extremely powerful at the same time and so beguiling that one wants to dive deep into this exquisite, subtly oriental-tinged fragrance.

Finally, vanilla with ambrette and the finest woods, together with musk, create the exceptionally sensual and creamy base that lasts almost endlessly and leaves us wondering the next morning - dream or reality?!

Dama Bianca is the seventh fragrance in the exclusive Casamorati Vintage Collection. The 100 ml bottles are made of frosted white glass, the label shows the graceful face of a beautiful woman and reflects the sophistication and richness of the perfume. At the same time, Dama Bianca pays homage to the elegance and independence of today's woman.
