XerJoff - Casamorati 1888 - Gran Ballo

The tradition of the “Grand Ball”, also known as a debutante ball, dates back to the 1700s, when young aristocratic girls had the opportunity to find their prince charming in the noble palaces of that era, amidst candlelight and artfully decorated golden mirrors.

Committed to the tradition of the House of Casamorati, "Gran Ballo" recreates the dream of the Grand Ball: a romantic dance of rare honeysuckle, gardenia, and jasmine blossom with warm notes of vanilla, amber, and caramel.

The Casamorati 1888 collection, launched by the perfume house XerJoff, reflects the history of the magnificent perfume house of the same name, which was founded in Italy between the 18th and 19th centuries.

La Fabbrica di Profumi C. Casamorati specialized in the production of exquisite fragrances, including Profumeria Fina alla Violetta Ideale, an elegant violet perfume. In addition, various refined bath soaps were also part of their range. Over the years, Casamorati received numerous awards from important national and international personalities. The most extraordinary and certainly most prestigious recognition was bestowed upon Signor Casamorati by Her Majesty Queen Margherita of Italy personally: During a visit to one of the national exhibitions, Her Highness was so impressed by the quality of the soaps that she presented the perfumer with a golden brooch as a sign of her gratitude and deep respect.

XerJoff, themselves known and loved for their high-quality and exclusive fragrances, have made it their goal to preserve the historical and artistic heritage of that glamorous Casamorati era. Thus, some of the original historical recipes have been carefully reworked and relaunched – so that the spirit of Casamorati may live forever!
